The Foldaway has a SIMPLE EASY TO OPERATE mechanism for lifting and lowering the washline. Note that all the machine screws used in it’s construction are stainless steel.

Unlike the majority of washline products on the market, our washlines are made from aluminium. Most washing lines are made from steel or galvanized steel which have the potential to rust sooner or later. Aluminium does not rust and it is also VERY LIGHT which makes it extremely easy to operate. Our washing lines are professionally EPOXY POWDER COATED to provide a WEATHERPROOF FINISH. All of the machine screws used in the assembly of our washing line are stainless steel.
The washing line comes COMPLETELY ASSEMBLED AND STRUNG and the screws and instructions for fixing it to the wall are supplied. The wall area where the line is to be fitted should ideally be flat and not have any fixtures such as copper pipes or cables in the way. Where the wall has obstructions it may be necessary to attach spacer blocks behind the Washline brackets in order to clear these obstructions. The same principle would apply to vibracrete walls where the upright pillars may obstruct the back bar of the Foldaway washline. Spacer blocks are supplied on request.
