Des Sol Engineers have spent many months trialling this new low profile Roof Rack design for minimum wind noise, maximum weight to strength ratio and many rack accessory mounting options. Our base unit is a Des Sol proprietary extrusion mould unit that we have designed and had manufactured which will form the basis of all our unique accessory options that we will be bringing out over the next few months ensuring that any load that you may wish to secure to your roof can be easily accommodated.
The base unit frame and slats are assembled with internal stainless steel bolts, nuts and washers ensuring full protection from the elements 24/7. The design is flat without any protruding bolts or nuts making it very easy to slide heavy loads off the rack without them getting snagged.
Rack-Tech Roof Rack Ladder – Gen4
Our unique design Des Sol Roof Rack Ladder is manufactured all out of aluminium. This design is not only pleasing to the eye but it is extremely light, with additional mounting holes to mount additional accessories should this be required. The ladder has been designed with our unique All Grip step treads to ensure a non slip grip in wet conditions. Our ladder mounting brackets are located and grip securely onto both the top and bottom of the rear door without any drilling or bolting into the vehicle bodywork.
